LOL. It’s clearly Pirelli’s fault for giving them a tire out of order! The team has zero responsibility to check the sets before they go on the car.

Wouldn’t they get thier tyre allotment for the weekend, and put on as nessecary? It’s not up to Pirelli to decide thier tyre strategies, or dictate how they get stacked in the garage. I think it is more of an organization issue, the wrong tyre being put with the wrong set when getting ready for a stop. In the heat of the moment nobody noticed that whoever stacked them ready to go on the car done buggered up.

It was sarcasm. There was a quote from the team saying they were going to look into the problem, and sorta passed blame by saying they felt it was because they were given a tire out of order.
